this morning, mikey had his 1 year well baby check up. he handled the finger prick without even a flinch. then, he had to get 5 shots. the first shot he gave the nurse a dirty look. but with the second one, he started screaming and it lasted... for a while. i wanted to cry, too. his weight and length are just below 50% - he's slowed down in his growing, but is at a great place. he's doing everything he should be doing - the dr isn't worried that he isn't walking or crawling yet. but this afternoon, he crawled across the room once! he wasn't too interested in doing it anymore, but we kind of had a crazy busy evening, so who knows.
