we had a crazy busy day today. my sister, heidi, rode 100 miles on her bike. we picked up her kids and met heidi and david at the finish line. i was in awe of her - to have trained and then completed a 100 mile bike ride is quite the feat. we spent a couple hours out in the heat of the day & mikey fell asleep on the way home.  i got him out of his car seat and he woke up but when we sat down on the couch, he fell back asleep.  on me. which never happens anymore. i was in heaven! i kept kissing his head and soaking it in. i was going out to dinner and a movie with a friend that night, but all in all - my favorite part of the day was that half hour snuggle i had with my boy.
