4 month well baby check up stats:

16 pounds, 11 ounces - 90th percentile [down from 98th @ 2 months] 

25.25 inches long - 75th percentile [up from 50th @ 2 months]

his weight to length percentile is 75th, which is good - a little more evened out. 

the pediatrician is happy with all of the developmental things he's doing and of course everyone in the office fussed over how cute he is. i can't help it, my baby is adorable. i know it. strangers know it. at least i'm still chubby to keep me humble, right? ;)

she did suggest that we start trying to get him to sleep in his crib, that it might be hard these first few nights, but that it would be easier for the long run. we're going to give it a try this weekend.

he handled the shots ok. of course he went from smiling at me to lip quivering cries and betrayal. but when i picked him up, he was comforted. and i was done crying by the time i got home, too. ha!
