what a day! its almost 6 pm and i realize the day isn't over yet, but hopefully the adventure is! we put mikey to bed last night and he slept until midnight with a high fever. then he was up every 2-3 hours for the rest of the night. we got up at 5:30 this morning and began our day of watching mickey mouse clubhouse. he threw up at 7 am. then started acting a little better around 10:30. when he asked for a car ride, we decided to go pick up lunch at cafe rio. boy was that a disaster. while in line ordering our salads, mikey started projectile vomiting on me. like possessed by a demon vomiting... it was not pretty. i ended up stripping both of us in the bathroom and borrowing garrett's shirt to leave the restaurant and then finished stripping the rest of my clothes in the parking lot before jumping in the car. what a sight to be seen! we're keeping our fingers crossed that that was the end of the vomiting. his fever is down to the 100 range again, which i can handle. the highlight of his day was when nana stopped by with some pedialyte and drinks and a new mater book for mikey. he heard her voice and booked it over to see her. he hadn't moved that much or that fast all day! thanks nana!!! we're hoping he's willing to go to bed here within the next hour and we're keeping our fingers crossed for a better night than last night. if he's in bed by 7, i can't promise that we won't be in bed by 8ish.
